I Have a Confession to Make

Parents, nothing in the world highlights and underscores the transcendent values of God like the church. Sports don’t do it. Education doesn’t do it. Movies and media don’t do it. Only the local church does. And I can’t emphasize enough the importance and priority the local church should play in the life of your family.
Because when you run to HIS HOUSE,
then you’ll discover how to run YOUR HOUSE.
So parents, get your kids to church! God has put you in a position of leadership and authority that comes down to this: parents are parents; kids are kids. Don’t try to be your kid’s buddy or best friend. They need you to be the parent. So when they don’t feel like going, get them to church anyway you can…even if you have to drag them.
