Right now, we’re in the middle of one of the most talked about series that we’ve done at Fellowship Church. It’s called “Myth Busters“, and we’re taking a look at some of the biggest questions between God and our culture today. Last weekend, I took a look at “God and Religion.” Here’s a portion of that message where I looked at the difference between Christianity and all other world religions…

“Here’s what God did. God arranged this ingenious plan. He arranged for Jesus to become man. He was fully man and fully God, which is something we’ll never understand. And Jesus did two things. (#1) He fulfilled the Law perfectly. He was sinless. And because he fulfilled the Law perfectly, and because sin must have a payment, (#2) Jesus was able to pay the price for our sin on the cross. He paid for your junk and mine, for your funk and mine. On the cross, God poured his wrath out upon Jesus and then poured his love out on us. And then Jesus rose bodily, thereby affording us the opportunity to have a relationship with our holy God and live forever in heaven.”
